About Me

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I graduated from the Military Medical Academy, which I finished with honours
and the first award in 1998. Ten years later, for the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medicine I received the award for best thesis of the Military Medical Academy and the award of the Polish Ultrasound Society. In 2012 I was elected to the Scientific Council of the Military Institute of Medicine; and in September 2013 the Council of II Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw gave me a postdoctoral degree in medical sciences.

I had clinical placements including Medicinische Hochshule, Hanover, Germany; Health Science Center The University of Texas, San Antonio, USA; John Radcliffe Hospital;  the University of Oxford, Oxford UK; Mazankowski Heart Institute, Division of Cardiology Center, the University of Alberta - Canada.

I conducted research, inter alia, in the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, Scotland, University of Gothenburg, Sweden and the John Radcliffe Hospital, the University of Oxford, United Kingdom in 2006-2010.
